The Bantam A Red team is thrilled to announce two new female assistant coaches.
Kiri Langford comes to the Panthers after playing for York University and the New Zealand National team. She has gone on to become one of the top Strength and Conditioning Coaches in Ontario, and is one of the staff for the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario. Her expertise in motor skills, physical literacy, and biomechanics. She is also a mental skills coach and will be a great resource in both of these areas.
Jasmine Grant will also be working with the team this year as an Assistant Coach. Jasmine has been a Panther for the past 13 years and was a top player not only with the Panthers but within Ontario. She is also a powerskating instructor and has been working with one of the top powerskating coaches in Ontario. Her offensive skills and creativity will be a huge asset to us as we try to create more offense with our young team.
The team is very excited to work with both Kiri and Jasmine and look forward to a great season together.
We are pleased to announce that Emma Barber will be joining the Peewee AA team for the 2018-2019 season in the role of Assistant Coach. Emma most recently played with the Aurora Panthers Midget AA team. Emma is a skilled player with experience at forward and defence. She has a fun and positive attitude and will be a wonderful role model for the Peewee players.
